Claim your listing: what field, facility and store owners can do on SoccerMapd
Fix the details, add photos and a logo, set weekly hours, post events and approve the ones other people post, and see every inquiry and every edit in one dashboard.
If you run a field, an indoor facility, a store, a club or a bar, there is a good chance it is already on SoccerMapd, with whatever details we could find. Claiming it makes the page yours: you fix what is wrong, add what is missing, and see what the listing is doing for you. Here is what that looks like.
How claiming works
- 1Sign in and open your listingFind it on the map or in its city page. Tap Claim this listing and tell us your role at the organization.
- 2We verifyWe check the claim by hand. The listing stays live exactly as it was while we do, so nothing disappears in the meantime.
- 3The page is yoursApproved claims show up in your dashboard. From there you manage the listing, and every change you make is live on the public page.
What the dashboard does
- Description, website, phone and contact email
- Weekly hours, set day by day
- Photos, with ordering, and your logo
- Category details: surface, lights, restrooms, parking, public access for fields
- Post events at your venue, which publish instantly
- Approve or reject events other people post at your venue
- Inquiries: everyone who asked about your program through the site
- A change log of every edit, with when and by whom
Inquiries sit at the top on purpose. They are the one thing on the page that tells you what the listing is doing. Each one is also emailed to you as it arrives.
Fixing details without an account
Not every fix needs a dashboard. Two other routes, neither needing a sign-in:
- Suggest an update. Every listing has a Suggest update button. Anyone can use it. We review each suggestion before it goes live.
- Your update link. When we email a listing, the email carries a signed link that opens a form pre-filled with what the listing says today, so you change the wrong lines and leave the right ones. It is signed to your listing and nobody else can use it.
What each kind of place shows
Fields
Surface (grass, turf, indoor turf, mixed), lights, number of goals, restrooms, parking, and whether the public can use it. The map filters on lights, turf and public access, so a field with those set shows up when a player narrows the map. Fields also carry a “best for” list: pickup, training, matches.
Indoor facilities
Hours, leagues and open play, listed under indoor soccer with a page per city. If you run leagues there, the adult league guide covers the facts players filter on.
Stores
Hours, website and photos, under soccer stores. Stores can also add products to the gear shop for review, with photos and a link straight to your checkout.
Clubs and bars
Both have their own guides: youth clubs and leagues and soccer bars.
Not on the map at all?
Add it. It takes about a minute. We review every submission before it goes live, and once it is, you can claim it the same way.

Questions
- How does claiming work?
- Sign in, open your listing, tap Claim, and tell us your role. We verify it and hand you the page. Until then the listing stays live as it was, so nothing disappears while you wait.
- Our listing has wrong hours. Do we need an account to fix it?
- No. Anyone can suggest an update from the listing page, and owners we email get a signed link that opens the form with no sign-in. The account is for the full dashboard.
- Can other people post events at our field?
- They can post, but nothing goes public until you approve it. Pending events wait in your dashboard, and you approve or reject each one.
