Midwest Premier League

The Midwest Premier League is a regional competition run by its member clubs. Its structure includes Gateway, Great Lakes and Heartland branches, with promotion and relegation in the Heartland.

The league also publishes 2027 expansion announcements describing future entrants.

The seven current 2026 conference directories list 52 teams. The February alignment announcement listed 53, including Rockford FC, which is absent from the current Heartland Division 2 Group B directory. Its participation status remains unresolved. Michigan Development Academy is the renamed Troy United team; it is not counted twice. Reviewed 2026-09-14.
