How to start an Official Tottenham Hotspur Supporters' Club in your city

The 15 members and the £50 fee Spurs ask for, the rules your social accounts have to follow, what the club sends a new club, and how to apply.

Tottenham Hotspur publishes what it asks of a new Official Supporters’ Club and puts the application on its Form a Club page, which says the club has over 600 Official Supporters’ Clubs around the world, the USA included. A US club watches at the same pub for every match, keeps a table for whoever turns up in the shirt, and posts the next kickoff before the room empties. This guide covers what the club asks for, what to have ready, and how to get found once you are official.

What Tottenham Hotspur requires

The 15 members and the £50 fee are from the club’s 2021 announcement of the programme. The club also published a Supporters’ Club Rules page; when we checked on September 5, 2026 it redirected to the homepage, so the rules below are quoted as search engines indexed that page. Confirm them with the club’s Supporters’ Club Liaison Officer before you rely on one.

  • A minimum of 15 members. The announcement says you must have at least 15 members to form your own club, and the rules put the same minimum on each Supporters’ Club.
  • An annual fee of £50. The announcement describes an annual membership fee of £50; the rules call it an administration fee paid to Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. Budget for it each season.
  • One Hotspur membership for tickets. Members need One Hotspur or One Hotspur + membership to buy tickets through their local Supporters’ Club. Nobody needs it to watch at the pub.
  • A committee of five and an AGM. The rules require each Supporters’ Club to hold an Annual General Meeting before September to elect its committee for the season, which must consist of five Members including a Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer, with a committee meeting at least every three months and minutes taken. The club must be non-profit, with its money in a separate account in the Supporters’ Club’s name.
  • A reasonable distance. Members must live within a reasonable distance of their closest Supporters’ Club.
  • Conduct. Each club must protect and enhance the good name of the club, and its social media must stay clear of anything abusive, discriminatory or inflammatory.

What the club provides, according to the Form a Club page: priority access to group bookings for home matches, a welcome pack built for your Supporters’ Club, Legends nights with Club Ambassadors and chances to meet First Team players, competitions for signed shirts, stadium tours and matchday experiences, an annual 5-a-side tournament, and the End of Season Awards event where members vote for the Player and Goal of the season. The 2021 announcement adds a signed certificate from the club, a personalised club flag and a dedicated page on tottenhamhotspur.com.

Before you apply

  • A pub that will show every Spurs match with sound, including 7:30 am Saturday kickoffs and midweek cup nights.
  • Fifteen names and emails, all within a reasonable distance of the pub.
  • A name that says Spurs and says your city, in the style of L.A. Spurs. Check Join a Club so you do not duplicate one.
  • Social accounts you would be happy for the club to read, since the rules cover what they post.
  • Five people willing to sit on the committee, including a Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer, one of whom holds the £50 and, later, the group bookings.

Getting recognized

  1. 1
Start from the Form a Club page
The Form a Club page carries the benefits and the application button. Ask the club for the current Supporters’ Club Rules at the same time; it will hold you to them once you are official.
  2. 2
    Check the directory
Join a Club lists every recognized club. If your city has one, join it. If the nearest is an hour away, say so on the form.
  3. 3
    Fill in the form
The application is on the Form a Club page. Have the 15 names, the pub and the socials ready.
  4. 4
Pay the administration fee when the club asks
The announcement puts it at £50 a year. Confirm the current figure and the payment route with the club rather than here.
  5. 5
Ask the club if anything is unclear
The club keeps Official Supporters’ Clubs FAQs on its help site and mentions a dedicated Supporters’ Club Liaison Officer in its announcement.

After you are official

  • Announce it from your account and the pub’s, and put the club’s flag somewhere the camera can see it.
  • Meet every match. Europa Thursday included. Consistency is the whole product.
  • Keep the schedule public. Next kickoff in local time, doors-open time, any change of room.
  • Keep the socials inside the rules. The conduct clause applies to your account, not only to the club’s.
  • Renew. The announcement describes the fee as annual; put it in the calendar.

List the chapter on SoccerMapd

SoccerMapd’s where-to-watch page for Tottenham Hotspur lists chapters by metro and links each one, next to the week’s fixtures in local time and the US TV channel where it is announced. A club that lists itself appears there for its city, on the Spurs team page and in the supporters club directory. State whether you are an Official Supporters’ Club or a group still applying; both belong on the map.

Once listed, ask for the schedule console link and tick the matches you are showing. The supporters club guide walks through it. No account is needed and nothing costs anything.
