Run a supporters club? Here is everything SoccerMapd does for your chapter

Most supporters clubs run on a group chat, an Instagram account and one person who remembers which bar has the sound on. That works for the regulars. It does nothing for the fan who just moved to your city, searched for your club and a pub, and found a thread from 2023. SoccerMapd exists to be the page that search finds, and this is what your chapter can do on it.

Your chapter page

Every chapter on SoccerMapd has its own page under /supporters-clubs, listed in its city and linked from the team it supports. The page carries:

• The team you support and its league
• The pub you meet at, with a map pin and the address
• When you meet, and what to expect on matchday
• Your Instagram, X, Facebook and website
• Your logo, photos, and how many people follow you
• The team's next fixtures, or the matches you have announced
• The watch parties and meetups you have posted
• The other chapters in your city

The follower count is real. It shows only when it is above zero and it moves when someone taps Follow, so it never claims a membership figure nobody counted.

Publish your matchday schedule, no account needed

This is the part built for the person who runs the chapter. We email your chapter a signed link. It opens a console that lists every match left in your team’s season as a tick list. Tap the ones you are showing. That is the whole job, and it takes about a minute on a phone.

   Open the link we sent

   There is nothing to sign up for. The link is signed to your chapter, so it works for whoever on your committee holds it, and we can revoke it and send a fresh one if it ever leaks.

   Tick the matches you are showing

   Every fixture in every competition, soonest first. A tick means your chapter is meeting for it at your usual pub at the usual time.

   Change the venue, doors or note where it differs

   Behind each match is a venue field, a doors-open time and a short note. Use them for the one Saturday you move to a bigger room or open early for a 7:30 am kickoff. Leave them blank otherwise.

   It is live

   The first schedule a chapter publishes gets one check from us, because the link is forwardable and we want to know an organizer is behind it. After that, changes appear on your page straight away.

What a published schedule does for you:

• Your page gains a Where to watch section listing the matches you have committed to, the venue for each, and kickoff in each reader’s own timezone.
• Each match appears on the where-to-watch page for your team and your metro, next to the fixture and the US TV channel.
• Each match is published as structured data, so a search engine can show “Arsenal v Spurs, Saturday 10:00, at The Globe” as an event under your chapter’s name.

The where-to-watch pages

For every team and every metro with at least one chapter, there is a page that answers “where can I watch Liverpool in Atlanta this week”. It lists the fixtures for the next seven days in local time, the chapters meeting in that metro, and the bars that say they show the team. Your chapter is on the page for your team and city already. A published schedule adds what you are actually showing, which outranks the raw fixture list.

Pick a Team sends new fans to you

Pick a Team is for the fan who does not have a club yet. It does not rank badges or trophies. A visitor tells us where they are and sees the clubs with a chapter nearby, and the pub each one meets at. If your chapter is the only one in town for your club, you are the reason someone picks it. There is a quiz version too.

The commitment card

On your page, under the schedule, is a link that reads Make it official. It builds a shareable card that says the person supports your team, watches with your chapter, at your pub. Shared as a link it unfurls as a landscape image, and anyone who taps through lands on a page that offers them the same card. A card names the pub, the pub’s regulars see it, and the link they follow invites them to do it too.

Followers, photos and events

• Follow. Anyone with a free account can follow your chapter. Following a chapter earns them more XP than following a bar or a field, because a chapter is a commitment to show up. Your followers see you in their dashboard and on their following list.
• Photos. Anyone signed in can add a photo from a watch party. Photos are moderated before they show. If you manage the listing, you also set the logo and cover photos.
• Events. Post a watch party or a supporters meetup as an event. It shows on your page, in the events browser, and on your city’s watch party page. Posting needs a free account.

Two ways to manage your chapter

The signed link is the fast path and covers the schedule. Claiming the listing is the full path.

• The link. Schedule console only. No account, no password, works on a phone, forwardable to the next organizer.
• Claim it. Sign in, tap Claim this club on your page, and tell us your role. Once we have verified it you get the dashboard: logo, photos, the club’s details (team, league, meeting schedule, matchday notes, socials), events, and a log of every change. Owners can also publish the schedule without a link.

Which teams have schedules

The console and the where-to-watch pages run on fixtures we sync for every club in the Premier League, MLS, the NWSL, the USL Championship, USL League One, the USL Super League, La Liga and the Scottish Premiership. If your club is outside those, your page still works and still lists your meeting schedule, but there is nothing to tick yet. Reply to our email and we will add the club.
