# Women's soccer stadium coverage: 2026 extension

Reviewed September 12, 2026. Data module: `lib/data/soccer-history-womens-venues.ts`.

This extension supplies 17 principal home grounds: ten NWSL clubs and seven Gainbridge Super League clubs. Together with the seven current women's entries in the base overlay, this covers all 16 NWSL and eight Fall 2026 Super League clubs. These are **2026-only annual snapshots**. They do not imply that a club used its current stadium throughout its history or at every home match.

The Super League's archive key is the season's starting year: `2025` means 2025-26, while `2026` means the standalone Fall 2026 season. Spokane Zephyr does not participate in Fall 2026 and is not added to this current-season extension. Earlier Super League seasons still require their own venue review.

Coordinates are representative venue map points, not surveyed pitch centers, stadium entrances, driving destinations or claims of exact positional accuracy. To avoid giving the same physical ground different distances for its men's and women's tenants, shared grounds use the identical coordinates reviewed in the [base overlay's current-ground extension](/data/soccer-history-venue-sources.md#2026-current-ground-extension): BMO, Shell Energy, Inter.co, Providence Park, Lynn Family, Snapdragon, America First Field, Maimonides Park, American Legion Memorial and Lexington SC Stadium.

## Annual-snapshot limitations

- Denver's official current venue page specifies Centennial Stadium from July 18, 2026. Its home opener at Empower Field and subsequent spring matches at Dick's Sporting Goods Park are real earlier 2026 destinations but are not represented by this one-ground annual snapshot. Earlier announcement dates are superseded by the current club venue guide.
- Sponsor-name changes at Orlando, Fort Lauderdale and Tampa are not stadium moves. Current names are used at the same physical locations.
- The existing Boston Legacy, Seattle Reign, Chicago Stars, Gotham, Washington Spirit, Kansas City Current and Sporting JAX entries remain in the base overlay. Their ranges and documented exceptions are not duplicated here.
- Principal-ground coverage does not claim every cup, showcase, relocated or special-event match. A match-by-match history would require date-level venue records.
